Our baby food
stages are carefully researched
to be age appropriate. However
every baby is different so we recommend
that you:
- Always consult your pediatrician
before starting your
baby on solids
- Consult your
pediatrician before introducing
a new food
- Never introduce more than
one food at a time
- Give your baby each food
for 4 days before moving
on to the next
And
remember: breast milk and formula provide
your baby's nutritional needs
during her first year. Offering
solid food is 'teaching' baby to
eat, while providing complementary
nutrients such as vitamins, minerals
and proteins.
Think
of weaning as a partnership: you decide what
she eats (variety of wholesome
colorful foods), your baby will
tell you how much she wants.

rich in flavonoids, especially
one called Quercetin which

this acts as a bolster
to the body's immune defenses.
• "An
Apple a day keeps the
Doctor away" - It's
True!
Apples' nutritional benefits peak three hours after
eating them, and drop off altogether after 24 hours,
hence the saying "An apple a day".

sweet
potato
Ingredients: organic sweet potatoes, water
Veggie Values
• Christopher Columbus
brought sweet potatoes to Europe
after his first voyage to the New
World in 1492.
• They
are an excellent source of
beta-carotene (vitamin A), manganese
and a very good source of vitamin
C both of which are very powerful
antioxidants. They are also a
good source of vitamin B6.
Why
organic? It's
better to buy organic sweet potatoes
if you want to eat the flesh
and the skin. Conventionally
grown potatoes should be peeled
as the skin is sometimes treated
with wax.
